NiNi is one of five 2008 Beijing Olympic mascots. Each of these mascots, colored after the Olympic rings, embodies an animal, an element of nature, and a blessing important in Chinese culture. NiNi embodies the swallow. This beautiful bird is emulated each spring in the kites of Chinese children. Her wings represent the sky and spread good luck blessings wherever she goes.
