This colorful Tianjin folk painting card captures the joy of kite flying. A kite is called "Feng Zheng" in Chinese and kite making is regarded as a traditional folk handicraft. The city of Tianjin is well known for its production of kites. Its most famous kite maker was "Wei Yuantai", otherwise known as "Kite Wei", who was a kite maker for more than 70 years!
