This book is suitable for foreign Chinese learners who have studied Chinese for over one year (Chinese learners at HSK level 4 or above). Chinese Pronunciation Practice for Foreigners is designed to correct pronunciation. It can also be used as self-study material and/or a reference book. The book consists of three parts: initials, finals and identification, and correction of pronunciation. Every part begins with a brief introduction of pronunciation knowledge. Every following lesson begins with easy and doable tips with English, Japanese, and Korean annotations. An MP3 disk is attached at the end of the book. Please review the Table of Content.

本教材是上海市语委语言文字应用研究“十一五”重点课题-“对外汉语教学会话能力训练教材研究”的阶段性成果。本书专为英、日、韩三种语音背景的汉语学习者编写。 对于英、日、韩三种语音背景的零起点留学生，本书是简明实用的汉语语音入门教材。建议任课教师：从“声调启蒙教学”入手，根据学生的实际发音，灵活把握教学重点，选择练习内容，用3周(60课时)集中完成本书的教学。
