Based on an ancient Chinese folktale, Mulan is the story of a young woman who disguised herself as a man in order to serve in the army in place of her father. After many years of rising up through the ranks of the Chinese imperial army she defeated the mighty Huns. Mulan then returned to her loving family to look after her aging parents. This story will make the reader think about how important it is to be who they are inside and to pursue their desires despite the obstacles placed before them by society.This set of two DVDs comes with a book in English and traditional characters. DVD One has the story in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. DVD Two "Let Me Talk" is in the three languages with subtitles and karaoke in Chinese and English.
