Friends is a series of graded Chinese reading materials for non-native Chinese students, suitable for readers of different ages and can be used both in and outside Chinese class. This series is written for teenagers, suitable for Chinese students from New HSK Level 1 to Level 6. Level 1 is appropriate for learners with a vocabulary of 150 words. Level 2 is appropriate for learners with a vocabulary of 300 words. Level 3 is appropriate for learners with a vocabulary of 600 words. Level 4 is appropriate for learners with a vocabulary of 1200 words. Each level includes 10 chapters.
