The New Concept Textbook is a Chinese language textbook that has many unique characteristics specifically and locally tailored for students from youth to teenage years. This book is completed based on the advice and approval of Chinese language specialists in addition to New Concept’s many years of overseas Chinese educational experience. After eight years of preparation for publication, this book has been tailored to students through New Concept’s research of the Chinese American lifestyle, culture, and educational environment. 《新意中文》是针对海外学习汉语的儿童编写的综合教材。全套教材共16册。每册包括课本和作业练习、试卷等，统一包装。课本四色印刷，图文精美。内容丰富有趣。随书赠送录音CD两张，录有课本中的部分内容。本册是第14册，针对六年级下学期学习者。课本每课包括课文、认读字词、中文基础知识和阅读部分。阅读部分包括中国名人故事、中国民俗故事、中国古代传说、成语故事和小幽默等。作业练习包括连字、组词、造句等多种形式。学完本册，学生可学会生字226个、词语452个。到第14册，学生累计识字1777个。请参阅新意中文教学法要点。
