Based on the children's books by Marc Brown, Arthur is an animated series for 4- to 8-year-olds that premiered in 1996. The series details the sometimes comic, sometimes emotional adventures of Arthur and his family and friends through engaging stories that explore issues faced by real kids. This series' goals are to help foster an interest in reading and writing English, and to encourage the development of positive social skills. In English, the Chinese translations is included at the end of the book

《亚瑟小子双语阅读》（全18册）是由美国著名儿童文学作家和画家马克布朗先生创作的系列儿童故事书，每本书都附有两页贴纸，系列童书的特点是：
★故事简短生动，配以贴纸游戏，让孩子享受到更多的阅读乐趣。
★帮助刚刚开始独立阅读的孩子提高阅读能力。
★已经有一定阅读基础的孩子，可以通过反复阅读，在轻松的阅读气氛下巩固识字效果。
★鼓励孩子用贴纸和词汇来自己编故事，启发创造性写作能力。 如何使用这套书：
★请家长首先大声为孩子朗读故事1-2遍，朗读的同时用手指出书中标记成蓝色的单词。
★读完故事，请孩子在本书第一张贴纸页上逐一找出和书中各蓝色单词相匹配的贴纸并撕下来，贴在蓝色单词的旁边。
★本书第二张贴纸页上有若干不同背景和主题的贴纸，请孩子充分发挥自己的想象力，利用这些贴纸来编出关于亚瑟和小伙伴们的新故事。家长还可以鼓励孩子自己画图来丰富故事场景，要知道，即使是还不会自己写字的小朋友，也会用图画来描绘自己心目中的精彩故事哦！
