《宝儿》是根据清代蒲松龄《聊斋志异》中的《贾儿》改编而成。《聊斋志异》是一部文言短篇小说集,里面记有传奇、志怪、轶事等等,多采自民间传说和野史轶闻。“聊斋”是蒲松龄的书屋名,“志”是记述的意思,“异”指奇异的故事。据说,“蒲松龄在写《聊斋志异》时,曾摆了一个小茶摊,请来往喝茶的人给他讲故事,然后赋予这些故事更为神奇的生命力,成为书中迷人的传说。
蒲松龄是山东人,他一生家境贫寒,生活清苦,历经四十余年,才完成一部《聊斋志异》。他曾在《聊斋自志》中说:“集腋为袭,妄续幽冥之录;浮白载笔,仅成孤愤之书:寄托如此,亦足悲矣!”读《聊斋志异》,我们应透过浮于表面的神怪仙狐,浸润在蒲松龄深沉的情感世界当中。
