在长满色彩缤纷竹子的小岛上，住着一对受大家爱戴的孪生熊猫兄弟——大大和小小。兄弟俩各自拥有特殊的本领，也善用本领帮助熊猫村民。可惜，因为一次的误解，他们开始仇视对方。 最后兄弟分道扬镳，一个住在黑白山的东边，另一个住在山的西边。由于固执和任性，双方导致环境严重污染，山下的竹林因此长不出好竹子。熊猫村民喝着污染的水，吃着没有营养的竹子，结果都病倒了。意识到事态严重后，兄弟俩开始 齐心合力，重建七色彩虹岛。
