The Rainbow Reading Series aims to develop children's thinking skills and creativity. It includes emotional education and guides them to read different genres of literature books. This series divides into seven color series based on the reader's reading ability. Red is elementary level, Orange is the second level, gradually to Purple which is the highest reading level of this series. Teachers and parents can guide their children to read in accordance with their reading ability.
<<彩虹系列丛书>>是一套以一个崭新概念编写的儿童文学丛书，目的是要透过阅读去训练儿童的思维能力，培养他们的创造能力，进行情绪教育，和引导阅读各种不同体裁的儿童文学作品。本系列示按照阅读者的阅读能力，以彩虹的七色来代表。划分为七个阅读程度。红色代表最初级的程度，橙色是第二级，逐步递升至紫色，便是本系列的最高程度的图书了。教师和家长可按照儿童的能力指导他们逐级递升地去阅读，速度的快慢，可作适度调整，不受学年的限制。本系列选取不同形式和体裁的儿童文学作品结集而成。
