Learning Chinese from Teacher Shen is a set of instructional materials designed specifically for K-3 Chinese immersion program in North America. Using rhyme to teach Chinese in novel and intuitive manner, this set has altogether 12 volumes. Each volume consists a poster, a reading book, a worksheet, and a lesson plan. It can be used as an in-class textbook or as supplementary materials and the reading book can be used independently.

Features:
1. A comprehensive set of instructional materials for K-3 Chinese immersion program. Aimed at supporting teachers, the lesson plans are provided to help with designing an enriching and engaging class.
2. Posters with different shapes enhance instructional flexibility. Posters can be cut into pieces as puzzles and teachers can use posters to organize activities and instructions.
3. Four in-class activities to actively engage K-3 students. Each rhyme is accompanied with four custom-designed in-class activities focused on four different phases of learning. The first activity will help students learn new words, vocabularies and sentences. The second introduces and practices the rhyme. The third aims at retention and comprehension. The forth one based on worksheet is designed for assessment.
4. Topics are varied and diversified, perfectly blending in school, daily life, animals, plants, festivals, and many more different topics are included.
5. Synergy of literacy study and content subjects. Each rhyme comes with an extension section to teach content subjects derived from the rhyme.

《沈老师教汉语》是针对海外K-3年级的一套教学材料，可作为教材使用，也可作为课堂教学的辅助材料。全套挂图选取了12首儿歌，每首儿歌一张图。每张挂图都由不同的小图组成大图，每个小图对应一句儿歌。教师可将挂图整体使用，也可以将每张小图剪切下来，用作拼图，供课上活动使用。
