When I grow up, my favorite things may change,
But there is one thing that never changes ...

When I was young, the world was new and I could discover many of my favorite things at any time.
Spread your favorite jam on breakfast toast,
Draw a red ribbon with your favorite colored pen,
Bounce on your favorite shoes,
Read your favorite storybook many times ...

But one day,
That jar of sweet and sour apricot jam will be finished;
Color pencils will become too short to draw anymore;
The lame feet will grow up slowly, and they can no longer wear those shining shoes;
That storybook that I used to read every day has never been turned.

Time will pass. When you grow up, many things will change.
How does change make us feel? Is there anything that will never change?

長大以後，喜歡的東西也許會改變，
但是有一樣，卻是永遠都不會變……

小時候，世界是新奇的，隨時都能發現許多最喜歡的事物。
在早餐吐司上抹最喜歡的果醬，
用最喜歡的彩色筆畫出一條條紅絲帶，
穿上最喜歡的鞋子蹦蹦跳跳，
讀好幾遍最喜歡的故事書……

但是，有一天，
那罐酸甜的杏桃果醬會吃完；
彩色鉛筆會變得短到不能再畫；
腳丫會慢慢長大，再也穿不下那雙一閃一閃發亮的鞋子；
那本曾經每天都要讀的故事書，再也沒有翻過了。

時間會流逝，慢慢長大後，好多事都會改變。
改變帶給我們什麼感覺？有沒有什麼事物永遠都不會變？
