The Conversational Chinese program is introduced as an enrichment program for non-Chinese students who are interested in learning the Chinese language and culture. Each lesson includes a dialogue in simplified Chinese characters, Pinyin, and English, vocabulary list, sample sentences, and exercises. Communication through languages enhances social interaction. Conversational Chinese provides students with the ability to communicate with native speakers, and to better understand and appreciate Chinese culture and values. It will also help students enhance their rapport with Chinese-speaking friends.
