The Way of Readingmainly matches the selected readings of Chinese and foreign classic literary works of the IB Chinese (literature/language and literature) course. Each textbook takes one work as a core, and the concept of reverse curriculum design with the goal as the starting point is the main axis. It provides two versions of teacher’s guidance book and student’s practice book. Each textbook will be divided into sections according to thematic elements, combining Chinese and Western teaching strategies, providing diversified teaching guidance and suggestions for classroom activities. Border Town, Shen Congwen’s masterpiece, is a reading comprehension question frequently appeared in the IB examination. Through the analysis of the theme, characters, plots, environment and techniques, this book guides students to understand the work in an all-round way and helps them adapt to the examination more quickly.

《阅读之道》主要配合IB中文（文学/语言与文学）课程的中外经典文学作品选读。每本教材以一部作品为核心，以目标为起点的逆向式课程设计理念为主轴，提供教师指导用书与学生练习用书两个版本。每本教材均会按照主题元素进行板块划分，结合中西教学策略，提供多元化教学指引与课堂活动建议，同时也会在整体设计上特别提供逐层深入的鹰架模式，为有深度地认识和掌握优秀的中外文学做好铺垫。“授之以鱼”不若“授之以渔”，通过对这些作品的研读，不但可以帮助学生顺利通过考试评估，而且可以学习受惠一生的方法和能力。
